What is foot pressure?
Foot pressure is the pressure the foot exerts upon the support surface during locomotion. Excessive pressure on specific point of the foot can cause small tears in the tissue. This damage leads to inflammation, pain, and stiffness.
Foot pressure distribution can be used as a quantitative parameter for evaluating anatomical deformity of the foot and for diagnosing and treating pathological gait, falling, and pressure sores.
Why should you do it?
Foot Pressure is a simple way to:
✔ Help determine the root cause of problems in the lower limbs
✔ Identify any asymmetries between the left and right foot
✔ Monitor the effects of treatments and easily compare pre- and post-treatment condition

What’s your Foot Type?
Normal Foot
- Even distribution of pressure
- Forms question mark curve
High Arch
- High pressure concentration on forefoot and heel
Supination Foot
- High pressure concentration on outer arch
- Common foot pressure pattern in bowlegs
Flat Foot
- High pressure concentration on entire sole
Bunion
- High pressure concentration on forefoot and big toe
Pronation Foot
- High pressure concentration on inner arch
- Common foot pressure pattern in ligamentous laxity
